Imaging Foundation - Fiji Classroom 2007
Join the Imaging Foundation as they reunite with the NAI'A team to develop a virtual third grade class series illuminating a day in the life of a coral reef. Dive, dive, dive and learn from your experience, your guides and reference materials, then pitch in with pictures, energy and ideas to teach kids thousands of miles away. If you are a photographer, great! If you are not, great too! Everyone is needed to help build this educational tool.
By becoming part of the project and the team, you feel yourself becoming a part of the legacy of the islands. As you read and explore our project information, you realize you are becoming engaged and part of our oceans' present and future.
Imaging Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to image based natural history education. Each project has a specific focus. In Fiji we will develop curriculum for three of the following for topics
Imaging Foundation volunteers do not require any prior experience, but at the launch of each project, volunteers becomes a vital team members in the development of fresh, new, cutting edge classroom uploads. Employing the Internet and podcasting Imaging Foundation teams are reaching kids in novel, innovative ways. Who taught you about the ocean? Isn't it time you gave back? Imaging Foundation is a 501 (c ) nonprofit organization. Participants are able to declare their payments as a tax-deduction. Of course, each volunteer must consult with their tax professional to insure that their situation allows this deduction.
