With infinite regret we must acknowledge the inexorable increase in the cost of oil and institute a fuel surcharge based on the actual cost of diesel fuel delivered to NAI'A. To avoid unpleasant surprises, we will determine the amount of the fuel surcharge three months before the beginning of the charter; as of the end of June it stands at $14 per day. The surcharge will be collected on board.
All clients who pay via bank draft, personal, business or cashier's
check or wire transfer receive a built-in 3% cash discount off NAI'A's
normal price for a land package or for air tickets. Land packages
include lodging, diving and side tours. Here is how the discount works.
This 3% discount is already built into the package rates that are
advertised on all of NAI'A's price sheets and also on the NAI'A website.
However, clients who choose payment via credit card are freely
waiving this built-in 3% discount. By this waiver they will pay
our normal retail price for their booking -- which is 3% higher than
the special cash-discount rate advertised on NAI'A's price sheets
& on the internet.
The deposit for individuals on each charter is equal to one third of the total charter cost and is due within 10 working days of booking. Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. Deposits and final payment can be made by bank check, wire transfer, or credit card.

RETURNING GUESTS: All returning passengers are entitled to a Vinaka Discount. A 9th return trip qualifies passengers for our NAI'A Gold Level Passenger status and a $1000 discount off the trip plus all future trips! YES! It's retroactive, "Vinaka".

We strongly recommend that each guest purchase comprehensive accident, medical, baggage and trip cancellation/interruption insurance when space is reserved. Please be advised that if a guest chooses NOT to purchase trip insurance, WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL DISAPPOINTMENT CAUSED BY REASONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL. In the event that it is necessary for NAI'A to cancel or interrupt a charter due to weather or any "Act of God" which is beyond our control, there will be no refund or credit issued. We also highly recommend diver accident insurance.

No refunds will be issued for unused or partially used dive packages. Our policy is intended to be fair to our guests, and yet prevent the loss of income to our business. Due to our remote location and the nature of liveaboards, we must depend upon advanced reservations. If a reservation is cancelled within 90 days prior to departure we will refund the total paid less an administration fee ONLY if we manage to rebook the space AND the vessel is full. Substitution of passengers is permitted.
